The finalists for the 2026 Scottish Legal Awards, sponsored by Denovo, have been revealed, with legal professionals, firms and teams from across Scotland shortlisted for the industry's most prestigious awards programme.
Now in its 23rd year, the Scottish Legal Awards celebrates excellence, innovation and achievement across Scotland's legal profession. The winners will be announced at a awards dinner on Thursday 17th September 2026 at the DoubleTree by Hilton, Glasgow Central.
This year's awards attracted more than 80 entries from over 40 organisations, reflecting the breadth of talent, expertise and innovation across the Scottish legal sector. Following a rigorous judging process conducted by an independent panel of respected industry leaders, finalists have been selected across a wide range of individual, team and firm categories.
The 2026 awards also mark the beginning of a new three-year partnership with Denovo as Headline Sponsor. Having supported the awards for many years, Denovo recently renewed its partnership with the event, extending its support through to 2028 and reinforcing its commitment to Scotland's legal profession.
The Scottish Legal Awards, sponsored by Denovo, continues to provide a platform to celebrate the people and organisations making a significant contribution to the legal sector, recognising achievements in client service, leadership, innovation, business development, community impact and professional excellence.
The event will once again support the LawScot Foundation, the charity of the Law Society of Scotland. The Foundation works to remove financial barriers to legal education by providing scholarships and support to talented students from less advantaged backgrounds pursuing a career in law.
Each year, the Scottish Legal Awards brings together hundreds of legal professionals from private practice, in-house teams, public sector organisations and legal support services for an evening of celebration, networking and recognition.
Finalists, sponsors, judges and industry leaders will gather in Glasgow this September to celebrate the achievements of Scotland's legal profession and recognise those setting the standard for excellence across the sector.
