The 22nd Annual Scottish Legal Awards has reached an exciting milestone with the announcement of this year’s finalists. Sponsored by Denovo, the prestigious national awards programme continues to shine a spotlight on excellence within Scotland’s legal profession.
This year, the competition received over 100 entries from more than 50 law firms, organisations, and individuals working across the country. Following a rigorous review process led by our panel of independent judges, 98 finalists have been selected in recognition of their outstanding work across a wide range of categories.
Lorna Jack, Chair of the judging panel, commented:
“The judging panel has been greatly impressed by the calibre and breadth of entries received for the 2025 Scottish Legal Awards. This year’s finalists have demonstrated exceptional standards of professionalism, innovation, and dedication across all areas of legal practice. It is a privilege to recognise and celebrate the individuals and teams whose work is making a significant contribution to the legal sector in Scotland.”
The winners will be revealed at the annual celebration and awards dinner, which takes place on Thursday, 18th September 2025 at the DoubleTree by Hilton, Glasgow Central.
The Scottish Legal Awards continues to support and raise funds for its charity partners, the LawScot Foundation, which helps students from less-advantaged backgrounds pursue careers in law, and It’s Good 2 Give, which provides vital support to young cancer patients and their families across Scotland.
